We note with sadness the recent volcanic eruption in Tonga.

Some parts of Tonga are much affected, while other parts are not so bad.
Aid is expected to start arriving once the airport runway is cleared of ash, which should be soon.
We think that there will be a need for a significant rebuild of facilities and we will be making representations to NZ Aid officials to make sure that NZ suppliers are not missed in any opportunities that might arise.
We plan to keep up with developments over the next days.
